IMDB rating: 7.60 Plot: A wide-eyed sister missionary arrives in Austria to begin her 18-month-long mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Despite having to make a few cultural adjustments, Sister Taylor meets every challenge with optimism. Her enthusiasm to share the Gospel makes her indomitable, until she finds herself with an abrasive companion whom she doesn’t understand and doesn’t particularly like. This challenge, along with the ordinary vicissitudes of missionary life begin to wear on her, and thus in the process of sharing the Gospel, Sister Taylor finds herself gaining a better understanding of its key precepts: faith, repentance, forgiveness, and charity. |

My dog keeps pooping in her crate. Help?
My dog is house trained but has recently been popping and peeing in her crate every day while I am at work. She is about a year and half and we adopted her from an agency. We have had her for about 6 months, and this has just been happening in the last month. She has also been barking like crazy (we get noise violations from the apartment complex). She never used to do that either.
I have tried moving her crate to a different room. Playing music. Leaving the TV on. None of these seem to work.
I am at my wits end. She pooped in her crate twice today and I only ran out for too short errands.
I would love to let her be free in the apartment, but I tried that and she still poops and pees and eats things and barks.
When we are home she is an angel and just lays around and plays with us.
Can you offer any suggestions?
dogs will some times relieve themselves in their crates if there crates are to large for them, try putting boxes in it so that theres only enough room for her to lye down

Any sudden change in habits or behaviour should be checked by a vet. There may be an underlying medical condition.

This happened with my dog too. Our assumption is that they are lonely, and are really bored without you guys home. I mean in their point of view i would be lonely too. We have bought her that dog toy (i forget waht its called) that has a hole in it and you can put treats in, so they can try to get it out. Though they give up after a while, or eat all the treats.
Try hiring a dog sitter?
best of luck ~

She may have separation anxiety, which is pretty common in rescue dogs. Since she needs to be alone for so long during the day, I recommend using a dog walker at least a couple times a week. My dog is a rescue and has separation anxiety but luckily someone is usually home but I do take her with me almost everywhere I go and we go to the dog park a lot so she can play with other dogs. It really does help keep her from chewing things up and getting into the trash when I do have to leave her.
