IMDB rating: 6.20 Plot: Kate (Meg Ryan) and Charlie (Timothy Hutton) have a perfect life planned out before them: buying a house, marriage, kids, the whole works. Kate’s fear of flying keeps her in Canada while Charlie goes to Paris for a medical convention. While there Charlie is smitten by the lovely Juliette (Susan Anbeh). He calls off the wedding with Kate and she nervously boards a plane to get him back. She ends up sitting next to the petty French thief Luc Teyssier (Kevin Kline). He hides a stolen necklace and smuggled grape vine in her bag to get it through customs. Her bag is stolen, the necklace apparently lost, and Kate and Luc head to Cannes — Luc to find the necklace and Kate get Charlie back. Along the way, Kate and Luc begin having feelings for each other — which change the course of their lives. |

What is going through my friends mind when she does this.,..?
I know this one girl who tells me she hates this one guy and thought he was ugly and a looser. I think he is too. Yet she went out of her way to ask him on a date a few times, and even french kissed him and grabbed his you know at a club when she was drunk. But yet continues to tell me how she doesn’t like him. This confuses me. What does this mean? Does she really like him or not? What do you think is going through her mind?
She is trying to make you think she doesn’t like him and you said your self you agree he is ugly and a looser. She likes him a lot and because he is ugly and a looser (she knows you feel this way)she wants to cover up her feelings so she feels she is still in the in crowd with you. When I was in school the same thing happened to me. I was smart. I could see right through her. She may think you might like him so she says she doesn’t to throw you off of her real game feelings. Have you ever heard of when a person is drunk the truth comes out? Yes? Now you know the answer.

I think she likes him. My best friend had some guy in here math class that she told me she hated all the time well now they just had there wedding so I think she likes him lol

She does like him but doesn’t want to admit it because of fear what her friends would say. Maybe she’s scared of her friends not liking him, so she pretends she doesn’t. She’s just insecure about liking someone where others might not be able to see the attraction.
