Do Hollywood producers/directors notice that they do this?
So I noticed that a lot of ‘dual’ parts have opposing signs…do they do this on purpose or is it just coincidence? I think it’s a bit of both haha

What’s so ’selective’ about stating the obvious? If it’s there it’s there. I wasn’t being very ’selective’ about anything, and if I had a measly two or three examples maybe you’d have a point there, but I don’t, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some.
That’s really interesting, I’ve never thought about that before.
I’m guessing it’s some of both too (:

i think they now… opposing signs always make the best duos to me…
because they are so diffrent, but usually have the same passions…
hence my best friend is a aquarius…
and when ever we go out…we are the life of the party…
but we are like night and day….i am a leo

You are using selective thinking on this. No doubt it will be just as easy to find any combination.
Selective thinking is the process whereby one selects out favorable evidence for remembrance and focus, while ignoring unfavorable evidence for a belief. This kind of thinking is the basis for most beliefs in the psychic powers of so-called mind readers and mediums. It is also the basis for many, if not most, occult and pseudoscientific beliefs.
